The Om is certainly the most recognized sacred syllable in the world and is also part of Hindu Dharma, meaning "absolute reality" and embodies the essence of the universe, so that at birth to each of the Indian children were writing this symbol on the tongue with honey, being a very important custom.


The Om joined the Buddhist religion among others, meaning spiritual perfection, and as such is seen tattooed men and women, mostly aged from 30 years, symbolizing a state of balance and peace that is difficult to represent by other tattoo designs.

This sound is used in meditation as a mantra, which is capable of creating a vibration in tune with the oscillation of the cosmos, radiating joy, harmony and happiness, and it is precisely these other meanings is an interesting tattoo.
